Here's a recent issue of Mike Keneally's newsletter.
Please notice that Mike will be in The Netherlands in February, and he's looking for possible gigs in NL, but also in Belgium and / or Luxemburg !!
I you have contacts, tell them about it.

THE KENEALLIST Dec. 21 2010: Holidays & Holland!

Hello! Happy Frank Zappa's birthday! I write to you from my hotel in Denver, a couple of hours prior to the last gig on the first leg of the Satriani North America tour - tomorrow I go home for a blessed 10 days of rest and holidays and repacking, and then we start it up again on Jan. 3 (see dates elsewhere in this missive). I'm really grateful for this touring experience and the whole experience of being in Joe's band - phenomenally good fun.

In February, KMB (myself, Bryan and Marco) will be going to Arnhem, The Netherlands to conduct workshops and perform for a couple of days. We'd love to do more shows while we're there, but the standard channels of organizing such things have thus far yielded zilch. Bryan Beller, who is so eloquent in such matters, has penned the following entreaty which I'm delighted to steal, rather than attempt to rephrase weakly:

"This is directed specifically to the people of The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. I wanted to tell you about something, and also ask for your help with something.

Here's what I want to tell you: Mike Keneally, Marco Minnemann and I are coming to do a two-day instructional workshop/performance at the ArtEZ in Arnhem, The Netherlands on February 17 and 18! We're very excited about this and will have more news about it posted on our websites soon.

Now here's what I want to ask you: Would you like to help us book a KMB (Keneally-Minnemann-Beller) gig while we're there?

Since we booked the workshop on somewhat short notice and there's not much time, we thought it would be most effective to simply reach out to everyone we know to see what the possibilities are.

If you've been reading BellerBytes this year [BellerBytes is Bryan's emailing list - ed.], you know that my wife Kira Small and I have had a lot of success in reaching out to the folks on our mailing lists - not just about house concerts, but about venue shows as well, and just general connections to folks who love music and want to help. Are you that person?
Then e-mail us at and let us know what you're thinking.

As far as dates are concerned, Saturday February 19 and Sunday February 20 are both good, as well as the entire week leading up to Thursday February 17. We know it's been way too long since we've done gigs in Benelux, and we want to fix that as soon as we can. If you think you have an idea that will help, now's the time.

Thanks and happy holidays, Bryan Beller"

Wasn't that nicely stated? I think it was! Happy holidays to you, Bryan Beller!

All righty! Love to the whole bunch of ya! Severely happy holidays to you!

Yours forever,
