ZAPPANALE #29 FLASHBACKS

Wednesday was our second day in Hamburg.
Pretty nice place.
Beautiful shops, restaurants and bars (and lots of record stores).
Two of the record stores were complete filled with dj / remix / drums 'n bass / experimental stuff.
I didn't recognize one name in the shelves. Except maybe for DJ Koze.

The main event, however, was the concert at the St Katharinenkirche.
Inventionis Mater, expanded to a trio for the occasion, performed among other pieces, the music of Frank Zappa.
Special guest Napoleon Murphy Brock added vocals and saxophone to some of the tunes.

An acoustic setting and a fine choice of compositions.
I liked it.
I saw a lot of people with recording gear walking around, so a recording should turn up soon.
(Viva Zappateers !!)
Now where's that program...
