Norwegian guitarist, composer, painter and surrealist Jon Larsen has produced a number of albums with various ex-Zappa bandmembers.
The first one was called "Strange News From Mars" and got recorded in L.A. at Arthur Barrow's Mar Vista studio.
A follow-up album got released in 2008: "The Jimmy Carl Black Story".
In 2011, Jon Larsen released "Willie Nickerson's Egg", a project with Tommy Mars: music composed and performed by Tommy Mars. Tommy narrates the story as well. Arthur Barrow is featured on the bass. It was a download-only album.

"Willie Nickersons Egg" got re-released in Norwegian in 2013. This time on CD. Narrated by Terje Stromdahl. Music written and performed by Tommy Mars, bass by Arthur Barrow.
One of the bonus tracks has Jimmy Carl Black yelling "This is Jimmy Carl Black. The first indian on Mars'. Hilarious.

And if that isn't enough, the first track, 'Pinnsvinet Fra Skinkebekk' includes a Frank Zappa theme !!
