Last year, WM Recordings released "Ostrich Von Nipple Contemplates The Cosmos", my first encounter with the bizarre musical world of OVN. It was a fine discovery.
OVN returns now with "OVN Plays Some Shitty Tunes", as in 'music written by Shitty Bedford'. Released on the German PsychofonRecords label, this disc is a must-have.
The packaging is great. The disc is housed in a clear DVD-case and has a 3D flip flop cover, and the artwork is beautiful.
The music mixes dark electronic soundscapes with creepy vocals and narration. Special guests on this 6-track EP are Nolan Cook (of Dimesland and Residents fame) and Havyn The Hatchling.
Highly recommended !!
