Überfall was a swiss jazz-rock band that lasted from 1984 until 1991. It featured Markus Stauss, Pit Kayser and Andy Muckenhirn.

"Treasures" collects material from the Überfall archives. It's a nice collection of tunes, and almost all of them (except two) were unreleased versions.
A nice little extra is that the booklet provides info on the year that each track was composed and on the time that it was performed live for the first time.

There are a couple of very fine tracks to be found on "Treasures". 'Strahlen' (which I really like), 'So Froh' (recorded with extra musicians), 'Überall', 'Irgendwo' and 'Überraschungsfrisur' (all three very zappa-esque!!).

I like it. The keyboard tells you that some of the songs were recorded in the mid-eighties, but the majority of the tracks still sound fresh and powerful.

The title fits the package.

Available from Fazzul Records.
