FRANK OUT! - IT CONQUERED THE WORLD VOL.2

I've been playing Volume 2 of Frank Out!'s "It Conquered The World" almost every day since I picked it up in Bonn at one of their recent gigs. Well, actually, it was a video recordings session that will be made available for streaming in February next year, but more on that later.

Anyway, as logic dictates, "It Conquered The World Vol.2" is the twin companion of last year's Volume 1.
And as its predecessor, it meets all expectations.
Vol.2 delivers rock versions of Frank Zappa tunes. Straight-forward versions but with the occasional exception. 'I'm The Slime' is sung in a Tom Waits style and includes a piece of 'Killing In The Name Of'. Love it.

Recorded live with some overdubs and studio stuff. There's even some xenochrony going on...

Amazing solo's by Kai Rothfuchs (guitar), George Rademacher (guitar) and Thomas Jung (keyboards).
Just the way I like it.
Another fine tribute to the music of Frank Zappa.

Did I mention the amazing artwork by Tim Rothfuchs?
