The story goes that the two men would get together every once in a while for a cup of espresso. Hanging out, they would listen to some old salsa and Stones records. One thing led to another and they started making music together.
When Michael Sheppard (of the Transparency label) heard the demos, a record was scheduled.
“The World Is Cracked Latin” is a very fine album. It’s latin music (rhythm secion, horns) mixed with a nice dose of psychedelica (guitar & vocals).
I have never heard anything like this before, and I love it!
