ALESSANDRO CARBONARE AND ANDREA DINDO - NO MAN'S LAND

I recently got hold of a copy of Alessandro Carbonare's collaboration with the Tetraktis Percussion Ensemble, and album entitled "Invenzioni" on which they performed 'FZ For Alex', a short and fine arrangement of Frank Zappa's 'Inca Roads.

On the above pictured "No Man's Land", Alessandro Carbonare (clarinet) teamed up with Andrea Dindo (grand piano). This album, however, includes a much longer version (almost nine minutes) of 'FZ For Alex'. As it seems, the piece does indeed start with parts of 'Inca Roads' but it does include a number of other familiar Zappa melodies as well. Arranged by Andrea Chienna.

Very nice.

It seems that the Carbonare / Tetraktis recording only presented a first part of the piece.
Here's a live (and longer) version of the Carbonare / Tetraktis performance of 'FZ For Alex' :
