One year after Underkarl's "Second Brain" album, the Enja records label released "Freemix", subtitled "Second Brain Revisited".
Obviously, the album presents reworked versions of most the compositions that could be found on "Second Brain". The result is quite impressive and has added a contemporary funky flavour to the original jazz tracks.
Except for Holger Czukay, I was not really familiar with various collaborators but that only added to the surprise.
