NAPOLEON MURPHY BROCK UPDATE

Guess you all know that Napoleon will be releasing the recording of the concert that he did at the Red Noodle club. The concert that had Frank Zappa in the audience...
Here's the update:

The current status is that the CD will be packaged next week, and will be ready for shipment by April 12th.
Some new details came up about the CD, ie: it is being featured in a book that also just went to press about the club owner of the Red Noodle. He was "THE MARLBORO MAN", and his name was Claude Hall. He did about close to 30 movies and T.V. shows. Like Bonanza, The Big Valley, and Rawhide with Clint Eastwood.

The story of "When Frank Zappa met Napoleon Murphy Brock", is being featured in the book, and also there is talk about turning the story of the Marlboro Man into a movie. And if so, the story about Frank coming there will also be in the movie.

The name of the book will also be featured in the CD liner notes. With a link to a website that people can go to and see the details of the book.

  1. Napi, It's so good to see this blog about the book "HAZARDOUS TO MY HEALTH-THE MARLBORO MAN I KNEW" and your Red Noodle Zappa CD about to hit the market. Thank God ,It's about time. The book sales are really picking up, and about ready to explode when all the Zappa fans start ordering.
God bless you and best wishes for the CD,Live at The Red Noodle...Hear what Frank Zappa heard!!
I know it will be A killer sound. I just got in touch with a guy in Honolulu, Augie Ray. He played The Red Noodle back in the day, and didn't have a clue to what ever became of Claude Hall. He was shocked that Claude's story ended in such tragidy. We love ya.
