180 GS

https://soundcloud.com/david-minnick/the-180-g-frownland-captain-beefheart-cover

This is an a cappella cover version of Frownland from Captain Beefheart's "Trout Mask Replica" album. The 180 G's have carved out their musical niche by covering severely iconoclastic albums of the late 20th century using only their voices. The 180 Gs have released a full length album of the works of Negativland, an a cappella cover version of Cardiac's monumental 1995 double album "Sing to God" and an a cappella cover version of the Residents' "Commercial Album (to be released March 2019). This song is the most challenging 100 seconds of music the Gs have ever attempted.
