This might just be the best release of 2025. Dweezil Zappa with his Zappa Plays Zappa band in concert in 2010. Performing the entire "Apostrophe (')" album. Featuring FZ as an on-screen special guest on 'Cosmik Debris', and featuring George Duke as special guest on 'Uncle Remus'.
It doesn't get much better than this.
I watched the concert video yesterday. Completely overwhelmed... Today, I enjoyed one of the bonus videos (the Thomag Nordegg interview). Very nice.
Two options: download, or streaming for one week. I would have preferred a blu-ray, but I guess this download thing will be the future...

Recorded in concert at the ‘Hofstra Playhouse’ in New York on 1976, this Billy Cobham / George Duke concert got previously released on CD by the Gonzo Multimedia label in 2016.
Featuring Billy Cobham on drums George Duke on keyboards, Alphonso Johnson on bass and John Scofield on guitar, the quartet performed ‘Echidna’s Arf’ and ‘Uncle Remus’.

george duke: the best of the mps years (2022, cd, Germany, mps)
The MPS record label started with a "The Best Of The MPS Years" series. The first two artists to be featured are Oscar Peterson and George Duke.
The George Duke included tracks from "The Inner Source", "Feel", "Faces In Reflection", "The Aura Will Prevail", "I Love The Blues, She Heard Me Cry" and "Liberated Fantasies".
'Love' from the "Feel" album features FZ on guitar;
'Uncle Remus' from "The Aura Will Prevail" is the famous George Duke piece for which FZ wrote the lyrics. 'Seeing You' has Janet Ferguson and Napoleon Murphy Brock on vocals.
Out on CD and on 2 LP. Both present the same tracks.

The MPS Records label issued George Duke's "The Best Of The MPS Years" a couple of months ago. Out on CD and as a 2LP set.
Among other pieces, it includes 'Seeing You' with Napoleon Murphy Brock on backing vocals, 'Love' with Frank Zappa on guitar, and the wonderful 'Uncle Remus' (George Duke, Frank Zappa).
Nothing new, but an excellent collection of songs.
sonny rollins, george duke, stanley clarke, al foster: live under the sky... '81 (2021, 2cd, uk, equinox)
After his stint with Zappa, George Duke performed and recorded with quite a number of artists. In the early eighties, he also started making name as a producer.
May 1980, George (as well as Stanley Clarke and Al Foster) contributed to the recording of Sonny Rollins' "Love At First Sight" album. During their 1981 tour to promote the album, the Tokyo concert got broadcast. It recently found its way to a radio show album.
At the time of this live performance Sonny Rollins and his all-star rhythm section were fresh from the studio where they had made his Love At First Sight 1980 LP for Milestone records. Most of the set list is taken from that recording with the addition of some perennial Rollins classics. As always Sonny's solos are energy and invention personified. For this Japanese tour he decided to complement his signature tenor with soprano sax. His relatively rare excursions on the straight horn are always worth seeking out.
George Duke, Stanley Clarke and Al Foster support the saxophonist masterfully and have plenty of solo space to showcase their considerable talents. Performed at Denen Colosseum, Tokyo, Japan on July 22, 1981 and broadcast by NHK radio.

Volume 11 and 12 in the "Dig Up The Pieces" re-issue series by the Japanese MPS record label: George Duke's "Feel" & "The Aura Will Prevail". From 2007 !! Nice additions to The Others Of Invention series.

Jazz saxophonist Kirk Whalum recorded a series of smooth jazz albums called "The Gospel According To Jazz". Volume one got released in 1998, volume two in 2002 and volume three in 2010.
All of these feature George Duke on keyboards.
Quite different from what George did when he was in Zappa's band, but very nice to listen to.
