Jean-Luc Ponty's "Live" album got released in 1979.
First CD re-issue followed in the U.S. in 2003 (and later in Japan).
And now made available again on CD by the same label that issued the album in 2003: Wounded Bird.
The album featured Ralphe Armstrong (Mahavishnu Orchestra) on bass and Allan Zavod on keyboards, both of which have performed and/or recorded with Frank Zappa's band at some point of their career.
