Pierre Vervloesem's latest release is called "The Weight Of A Threatening Blue Sky".
The album presents four lengthy tracks on which Pierre plays a melody or soundscape against a polyrhythmic dub vibe.
In the liner notes, Pierre advised using headphones and I totally agree. I love the sound of the bass and the percussion that shifts and moves around.
The use of different percussion sounds feels like an injection of exotica flavours, especially in 'The Sky'.
With the guitar on top, it results in a beautiful audio adventure.
