THE BAND FROM UTOPIA AT THE BAKED POTATO, AUGUST 13 & 14

STEVE KIMOCK, BOBBY VEGA, ALAN HERTZ, AND RAY WHITE

KVHW = Steve Kimock, Bobby Vega, Alan Hertz, Ray White

The band existed only for a couple of years and released two CDs: "9/28/98 and 10/24/98" (also called "KVHW" or "Live In Concert") and "Live @ The Lip".
Next to these two, Steve Kimock made 9 digital-download-only albums available through his website: 4 albums with demos and 5 concert registrations.

Through the wonders of the internet, I recently got hold of "Live @ The Lip" which is the hard one to find.
What a band. And Ray White, what a voice !!

• KVHW: 9/28/98 and 10/24/98
(1998, cd, USA, private release / KVHW)

• KVHW: Live @ The Lip
(1999, cd, USA, private release / KVHW)

The other albums:

• KVHW: KVHW 05.05.98 – Live From Studio E

      (2005, download, --, steve kimock)
• KVHW: KVHW 09.18.98 – Maritime Hall – San Francisco, CA
       (2005, download, --, steve kimock)
      - incl. ‘City Of Tiny Lites’ (F. Zappa)
• KVHW: KVHW 09.28.98 – Powerhouse Brewing Company, Sebastopol, CA

      - incl. ‘City Of Tiny Lites’ (F. Zappa)
• KVHW: KVHW 04.02.99 – Great American Music Hall – San Francisco, CA
      (2005, download, --, steve kimock)

And for the less official part, there are of course a large amount of (excellent) audience concert recordings available as well. Both audio and video.

THE ZAPPA BAND 2021 08 23 SARATOGA NY

Starting the weekend with a video recording of The Zappa Band, opening for King Crimson.
2021 08 23 Saratoga NY
Pretty awesome.

SPAC in Saratoga Springs posts / streams / uploads their concerts to YouTube and usually the artists pull them within hours of being posted, as was the case with this show. This show was online for about 8 hours and someone managed to capture and author it in HD 1080p with commercials edited out.
