recent messages / setlists by Ed Palermo :
Thx to everybody who came to Falcon last night to help ring in the new year! 2018 is going to be amazing if last night's celebration is any indication.
We did a parody of the Oscars. The set list won't include the "Play off" tunes, but I will briefly describe the final "award" towards the end.

The award for best big band was between my band and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Wynton Marsalis. After it was announced that my band won, the band launched into:
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS (Queen)
But Bruce McDaniel stopped the band to tell the audience there was a mistake and that the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra was the actual winner, the band played:
I’M A LOSER (Beatles)
(midnight)
AULD LANG SYNE
WE ARE NOT ALONE (Zappa)
STRICTLY GENTEEL#2 (Zappa)

Good morning! Thx to everybody who came to my sold out show last night at the Falcon! Super thanks to my incredible band and guest tap dancer Nicki Denner and guest vocalist Nina Hennessey. The Falcon audience is a gift from God to me and my band. Words don't do justice to how great they are.
