MONDO HOLLYWOOD SOUNDTRACK GETS A RE-RELEASE

"Mondo Hollywood" was a documentary film by Robert Carl Cohen about the weird people that lived in Hollywood in the early sixties. It also includes various fragments of the famous L.A. freak scene, hence the picture of Carl Franzoni and Vito Paulekas on the album cover.
Initially, The Mothers appeared in the movie, but when their then-time manager (Herb Cohen) tried to get some financial compensation, The Mothers' section was cut out...

The soundtrack LP got released in 1967 and although it didn't feature The Mothers, it does include Bobby Jameson's 'Vietnam'.

The soundtrack has been re-released on both LP and CD on the Reel Time label.
