I just added the data for Sun Ra's "Myron's Ballroom" to the U.M.Archives. "Myron's Ballroom" got released in 2006 by Transparency. Transparency already had released a small number of Sun Ra DVDs, and this was their first Sun Ra audio release.
The album offers an audience recording of a 1981 concert that Sun Ra did at 'Myron's' in Los Angeles. You get 184 minutes (on 3 CDs) of cosmic jazz. It's the entire gig with performances of classic Sun Ra tunes next to free jazz improvisations.
The Arkestra features Marshall Allen, Danny Ray Thompson, John Gilmore, Michael Ray and the out-or-this-world June Tyson.

Here's some footage from the Chicago Jazz Festival. Also from 1981. It'll give you an idea of what the band sounded like.
