FROM SAND TO STARDUST

French instrumental trio FROM SAND TO STARDUST have released their new mini-album, Moondrift, available now digitally and on CD.

Previously introduced through the music video for “Carving Stone From Space,” the record expands that first transmission into four tracks and thirty minutes of fuzz, movement and open space. Heavy desert-rock grooves meet progressive structures, psychedelic textures and passages that seem designed to test how far three musicians can travel without leaving the room.

      (2025, cd, --, act)
      (2025, lp, --, act)

UK sax prodigy Emma Rawicz has just released her fifth album.
You may have seen or heard Emma with The Lovers Of Invention (the London-based Frank Zappa tribute band) a couple of years ago, but nowadays, she's fully focused on her solo career.

"Paintbox" is another beautiful album. If you're into weird but colorful modern jazz, you should definitely check it out.
The bandcamp album presents 5 tracks. The CD and the LP offers 8 tracks, so choose wisely.

Featuring:

• Emma Rawicz - Tenor And Soprano Saxophone
• Elliot Galvin – Piano
• Kevin Glasgow - Electric Bass
• Asaf Sirkis - Drums And Percussion

My ears tell me that there's also a guitar player present in the superb 'Quirky', but what a quartet !
Love it.
