Although Belgian ensemble Black Flower released their latest record on the Belgian Sdban Records label, their music is anything but Belgian.
This is contemporary jazz, infused by oriental music elements.
The band consists of Nathan Daems (sax, flute), Jon Birdsong (cornet), Karel Cuelenaere (keyboards), Filip Vandebril (bass) and Simon Segers (drums) and features Meskerem Mees (vocals) and Pablo Casella (backing vocals) as special guests.
