Marmur is a duo formed by Artur Rumiński (Furia, Thaw, Arrm, and many others) and Macio Moretti (LXMP, rumored to be Mitch & Mitch, and many others) exploring the aesthetics of soundscapes, decaying juicers, piezoelectric clutter, and mites magnified 10,000x.
After releasing a cassette entitled "Doom Service" on Szara Reneta in 2023, they return with material that blends guitar-synth ambient, minimalist experimentation, and the noisy aesthetic of digital glitch.
"Elektroniczne Systemy" is quite different from what I normally listen to.
But I'm in for an experiment every now and then, so why not.
As the intro says, expect minimalistic soundscapes. Electronic soundscapes.
There are three pieces on this album, each around 10 minutes.
The pieces itself move slowly and sound like listening to nature sounds but then translated electronically.
Interesting.
Marmur's "Elektroniczne Systemy" got released on the Rope Worm label.
