- John & Yoko / Plastic Ono Band: Power To The People
(2025, 9cd + 3blu-ray, --, universal)
The box has a lenticular image on the cover, showing John Lennon when looking from one angle and Yoko Ono when looking from the other angle.
A big part of this box set is material from the concerts recorded on 30 August 1972 at Madison Square Garden. The afternoon and evening gigs, dubbed The One To One Concert, were in aid of children with educational and developmental needs. They would be the only full-length shows Lennon played after The Beatles split. They were also his last public concerts with Ono.
Next to the 1972 concert recordings, this deluxe version of John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s / Plastic Ono Band's "Power To The People" box set includes John & Yoko’s 1971 jam with Frank Zappa and The Mothers as bonus material.
Previously released on “Some Time In New York City”, the jam with FZ & The Mother got recorded in concert on June 6, 1971 at the Fillmore East in New York City.
