Working within and beyond the vision of elementary school music teacher Randy Porter, Big Music, Little Musicians presents the odyssey of 4th, 5th & 6th grade students from novice musicians into an avant garde ensemble. An ensemble that engenders an array of sonic textures which never remain static or stagnant, but flow in a way that it's always surprising, often starling and astonishing. BMLM, released in 1994 exclusively on CD, is the earliest elements of The Saga Of Padani which curates the best moments from both volumes of the “little Arkestra's” journey through sonic space. 43 original compositions and one iconic Sun Ra cover.
