Two years ago, Cor van Diejen surprised us with "Een Modder Van Inventie", a book that collected his essays on the subject of Frank Zappa.
"Een Harlekijneend, Gans Wit Genekt, Kwaakt" continues where "Een Modder" left off.
This time, as the cryptic title suggests, it's not just Zappa's output that undergoes Cor's musings as he has put his thoughts about Captain Beefheart's various releases on paper as well.

Great fun to read.
My copy came with a picture of Captain Beefheart (from the 1980 Paradiso concert) and there are beautiful bookmarks around as well.
This is Cor van Diejen's third book. Next to "Modder", he also wrote a book on Igor Stravinsy.
