Harmut Geerken is a writer,
composer, musician, film-maker, actor and founder of Cairo Free Jazz Ensemble.
He has played with the Art Ensemble Of Chicago and
Embryo, and is the proud owner of one Sun Harp, given to him in 1971 as guarantee for
Sun Ra's flight back to the States after a legendary gig in Egypt with Hartmutt
and Salah Ragab.
Harmut Geerken has recently added another release to his extensive discography: a vinyl album, 'At The Face', in a limited edition of 200 copies on the Holidays Records label.
