Session musician John Tropea's discography features quite a number of people who have worked with Frank Zappa.
Lou Marini, Ronnie Cuber, the Brecker Brothers, Don Grolnick and Lou Del Gatto (these latter two were part of the SNL band that performed with FZ)

RONNIE CUBER

When Zappa did his Christmas shows in New York City in 1976, Ronnie Cuber played the saxophone in the horn section that Zappa had incorporated in his band for the occasion.
Besides Ronnie Cuber, the horn section featured Tom Malone, Lou Marini and Mike and Randy Brecker!!
Recordings of these shows were used on Zappa's "In New York" and "Lather" albums.

More recently, November 2013, Ronnie Cuber played a gig at the 'De Singer' jazzclub in Rijkevorsel (B), accompanied by the Rein de Graaff Trio.

The Rein de Graff Trio, featuring Ronnie Cuber, will be doing a concert at 'De Singer' jazzclub in Rijkevorsel (Belgium) tonight.

Ronnie Cuber was a saxophone player in the Saturday Night Live band when Frank Zappa was featured as a special guest.

When Zappa did his Chrismas shows in NYC in 1976, Ronnie Cuber was part of the horn section, playing baritone sax and clarinet. Recordings of this concert were used on "Zappa In New York" and on "Lather".
