dEUS - WORST CASE SCENARIO (30th ANNIVERSARY EDITION)

  • dEUS: Worst Case Scenario (30th Anniversary Edition)
        (2026, 2cd, Belgium, piasb1042cd)
        (2026, 3lp, Belgium, piasb1042lp)
After having released two EP's in 1994 ("Zea" and "Suds & Soda"), dEUS released their first album, "Worst Case Scenario" later in the same year.
It got produced by Peter Vermeersch and Pierre Vervloesem.
Soon after the album another two EP's followed: "Via" and "Hotellounge".

All of these EP's did get quite some airplay on Studio Brussel, Belgian national radio, and as a result, most Belgians (at least those who have a good taste in music) can whistle or hum most of these tunes along.

A classic album and the little references will immediately explain where their influences come from.
- ‘Zea Intro Replica’ sampled ‘The Blimp’ (D. Van Vliet), It's The Blimp, Frank !
- ‘W.C.S. (First Draft)’ sampled ‘Little Umbrellas’ (F. Zappa)

This is not the first 'deluxe' re-issue of "Worst Case Scenario" but it fits nicely next to the "In A Bar, Under The Sea (30th Anniversary Edition)", so I consider it essential.

It's The Blimp! It's The Blimp, Frank !
