Guitar player Todd Grubbs has appeared on several (if not all) Frank Zappa tribute albums that have been compiled by Andrew Greenaway for the Cordelia Records label.
Todd's solo efforts are quite different. His latest release "Inside Your Brain" sounds like a classic heavy metal album. A fascinating heavy metal album with lots of fine guitar stuff, but don't expect any zappa-esque twists or turns.
Still, a fascinating album.
Should be out on CD in the near future as well.
