SPLASH - SPLASH 1970-1979 - SAMTLIGA INSPELGINGAR

Swedish rock and jazz ensemble Splash existed between 1970 and 1979. They released three records in that period of time.
The band was influenced a lot by the music of Frank Zappa and performed several FZ compositions in concert from time to time.
The "Splash 1970-1979 - Samtliga Inspelgingar" got released in 2018, re-releasing the entire Splash catalogue with lots of bonus material.
The radio show on disc four includes Splash performing 'Peaches En Regalia', 'My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama' and 'Eat That Question'.
Disc five, with live recordings from the Europop tour, presents 'Peaches En Regalia' and 'Eat That Question'.
Disc six is a data disc with an mp4-movie and lots of mp3 recordings from various concerts. Again, live performances of the above mentioned Zappa pieces, plus a rehearsal of 'Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus'.

What a nice discovery.
Great box set. Every disc in a separate cover plus a beautiful booklet.
These guys won some sort of music competition at the Bilzen festival in the early seventies ! In Belgium, that is.
