This music was commissioned by the MAO in Turin, and it’s a unique piece that I personally love deeply. It’s rare for me to feel such a strong attachment to a piece I’ve written, but this one is very emotional for me. The combination of harp, double bass, and guqin coming together in a meditative, reflective, spiritual journey across seven movements, inspired by the sounds of Zen meditation, always moves me. I hope you will love it as much as I do.
