Here's an update on Joachim-Ernst Berendts "Was Ist Jazz" 2 LP set that got released in 1977:

German music journalist and author Joachim-Ernst Berendt released an audio documentary on the history of jazz, entitled “Was Ist Jazz?”.
The exposé / presentation was filled with musical excerpts to illustrate the various musical styles and included the George Duke / Frank Zappa collaboration ‘Uncle Remus’ (on side D).

The album would later be released on CD, using a black and white version of the original artwork, and mentioning “2 CD” in the below left corner.
