Listening to a recording of a 1980 Zappa show, had me browsing the 1980 tour books.
Frank Zappa issued two tour booklets in 1980. One for the World Tour (March to July) and one for the Fall Tour (October to December).
The booklets are very similar, presenting the lyrics of the new tunes, the band, all intertwined with the magnificent artwork of Cal Schenkel.
Compared to the older ones, the 1980 tour booklets are not that hard to find (and/or still affordable if you come across them).
