In about a month, on October 7, 2022, The Universe By Ear will release their third album, aptly called "III".

The first single of the album is out.
It's a 7-minute epos entitled 'Salty Water'.

The Universe By Ear likes to go against the flow.
Their first album did not have a title. It got released in 2017. Their second album didn't have a title either. It got released in 2019...

The next single from the upcoming album will be 'Sail Around The Sun'.
The band commented :
and since the song is a chunk of over 12 minutes, we will release the video in four palatable parts:
- 16. september 2022: „Sail Around The Sun" Part 1
- 23. september 2022: „Sail Around The Sun" Part 2
- 30. september 2022: „Sail Around The Sun" Part 3
- 7. october 2022: (complete) „Sail Around The Sun" Parts 1-4

Two third of the trio is part of Fido Plays Zappa. It might explain the weirdness...
