The next episode of "Music Across", Gernot Friedbacher's radio show, will highlight the latest edition of the Zappanale Festival.
From 18 to 21 July 2022, Zappanale #31 took place again in Bad Doberan at the Baltic Sea after a 3-year break due to Corona. It was a great edition that seamlessly picked up where it had left us in 2019, as if time had stopped in those 3 years. Everyone was happy to meet old friends again and to experience great live music together. This year, "Music Across" once again spoke to many artists who will also have their say in a whole series of "Music Across" shows. We will start with Chris Farlowe and Clem Clempson from the legendary British band "Colosseum", the guys from the French progressive rock band "Dark Rock Hallucinogéne", "DRH" for short, and Agnete Granitzka with Peter Görs from "Zappnoise" from Germany, the inventor of the Zappanale, who have been part of the Zappanale for many years and who performed at this year's warm-up party under the name "Blanck Zappath". And two "old acquaintances" will also have their say, the autograph collector Gunnar Grätz from Bad Doberan and the painter Helmut King from Vorarlberg.
There will be a few more shows about Zappanale 2022, with Napoleon Murphy Brock, Mats Öberg, Mike Keneally, Bobby Martin, Zappawoman Trio, Art Tripp, Liberation Orchestra, Potenzial, Tante Tofu, Marco Pacassoni, Run Logan Run, Yasi Hofer Trio, Miserable Husos, Klangfusion, Who's Pink and bEND.
