Mike Keneally says:
Large swaths of people have asked me over the years, why is "Scambot 1" not available to stream on (insert name of evil music-streaming monopoly service here)? Believe me when I say we have tried repeatedly to shoot ourselves in the foot financially by making the album available there, but some weird algorithmic logjams combined with utter unresponsiveness from the evil monopoly in question rendered our attempts to take money out of our own pockets sadly ineffective.
Well, fie upon the unnamed service! We've taken streaming matters into our own trembling hands and finally made "Scambot 1," and its utterly bizarre but undeniably interesting companion album "Songs & Stories Inspired by Scambot 1," available for you to stream and/or download to your very heart's content.
Both downloads come with digital art - in the case of "Scambot 1" you get the original CD booklet in digital form, and in the case of "Songs & Stories," a special cache of concept art (mainly my drawings of the album characters, which were reduced significantly for use in the booklet but which you can now see in breathtakingly high resolution).
The links to the pages for both album are below! I'm very glad that both of these albums are now available for you to stream - I have great fondness for both of them - and by the way, today is Bandcamp Friday as you probably know, so all proceeds will go to Exowax Recordings (which can really use them, believe you me!).
