(2005, cd, uk, family recordings)
Andy Votel (real name Andrew Shallcross) is an English producer and musician. His moniker is an acronym for Violators Of The English Language, a Manchester hip hop crew.
The sticker on the CD said “A unique 70 minute mix of ‘hairy funk’ from the vaults of Vertigo – Britain’s premier rock label.”
The second track on the album is about five minutes long. It’s a mix of Marsha Hunt’s ‘(Oh No Not) The Beast Day’, Affinity’s ‘Three Sisters’, Juicy Lucy’s ‘Willie The Pimp’ (written by Frank Zappa), and Gravy Train’s ‘Think Of Life’.
