Sinister
Sister is made up of five excellent rock / jazz musicians.
Early
March, the quintet did concerts in Brussels, Eeklo, Brugge and Sint Niklaas. I
was told that they already have some concerts scheduled for later this year as
well.
I
caught them in Brussels and got blown away. An excellent choice of
compositions. Fine and playful arrangements. And great playing.
Besides
the exceptional technical level, each of the musicians has a very personal and
typical style, adding extra colors and moods to the improvisations.
To me,
this is the way that Zappa's music has to be performed.

It
should come as no surprise to you that I saw them again in Eeklo and in Sint
Niklaas.
