Phil Maggi is a composer, vocalist and film maker from Belgium.
He's best known as the lead singer of heavy rock band Ultraphallus, but he also released several solo albums.
Phil’s 2018 “Animalwrath” album ends with a piece entitled ‘The Big Note’.
Phil explained:
It was in fact inspired by Pacôme Thiellement’s film and articles about Frank Zappa. But I just used the title as a homage to my favourite bands.
“Animalwrath” was also made available through digital music platforms.

The music on "Animalwrath" is eclectic, to say the least. The words collage and musical architecture come to mind.
The Bandcamp page adds:
