- les projectionnistes: copie zéro
(1999, cd, canada, ambiances magnetiques)
The last couple of weeks, I've spoken very highly of L'Orkestre Des Pas Perdus, the Canadian brass band that I had discovered through their "Tarapatapomm2" album (on which they performed FZ's 'Chunga's Revenge'.
L'Orkestre's mastermind, Claude St-Jean, was also the man behind Les Projectionnistes, another project that has released beautiful music.
"Copie Zéro" was their first release. It's from 1999 and it got released on the Ambiances Magnetiques record label (that we also know from L'Orkestre !).
Contemporary rock / jazz. Great stuff.
- Claude St-Jean - trombone-piano-percussion
- Pierre Labbé - tenor sax-flute
- Bernard Falaise - guitar
- Tommy Babin - bass
- Rémi Leclerc – drums-percussion
Check it out. It's wonderful.
