July 1999, the University Of Calgary Wind ensemble performed Frank Zappa's 'Dog Breath Variations" at the the ninth conference of WASBE. It's a pretty impressive performance.

The recordings got released on the University Of Calgary Wind Ensemble's "Gardens Of Dreams" album in 1999.
More recently, the album got a re-release treatment on the Markcustum label.
The tracks got re-arranged, and the album got a new cover, but it's the very same recording that you will find on this s/t release.
