ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK - SALAMI ALEIKUM

Score composed by Ali N. Askin.

Ali N. Askin arranged Frank Zappa's compositions for the Ensemble Modern's "Yellow Shark" concerts in 1992.
In 2000, he arranged Zappa's music for "200 Motels, The Suites", performed by the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest, Cappella Amsterdam, Morgan Ågren, Mats Öberg and Claron Mcfadden. Two years later, he arranged and transcribed Zappa pieces for the Ensemble Modern's "Greggery Peccary" concerts.
In 2003, he arranged Zappa pieces for the Dresden Sinfoniker, and in September 2006 he worked with the MusikFabrik as they performed music by Zappa and by Varèse.

That's how we Zappaheads know him. In the real world, Ali N. Askin writes music for TV-series and for movies.
I haven't seen "Salami Aleikum", but the music sounds quite good. Poppy stuff with turkish and eastern influences.
Very interesting.
