Zoogz Rift (born Robert Pawlikowski, July 10, 1953 – March 22, 2011) was an American musician, painter, and professional wrestling personality known for his eccentric and experimental rock music. Influenced by Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, Salvador Dalí, and Ayn Rand, Rift began his recording career with the 1979 album Idiots on the Miniature Golf Course and released numerous albums through SST Records in the 1980s, blending zany, avant-garde sounds with sharp social commentary.
