After their break up in 1981, The Allman Brothers Band started playing again in 1989 when they did a 20th anniversary tour.
It was also the introduction of three new bandmembers: Warren Haynes, Allen Woody and Johnny Neel. Earlier, both Waynes and Neel had been a part of the Dickey Betts band.

The new line-up counted seven members : Gregg Allman (vocals, organ), Dickey Betts (vocals, guitar), Warren Haynes (vocals, guitar), Johnny Neel (piano), Allen Woody (bass), Jai Jaimoe (drums, percussion), Butch Trucks (drums, percussion).
'Seven Turns', track number six on the CD, was the final track written for this album.
