Last week, I received two beautiful boxes. The first one, was "Dance & Short Fiction Films", a collection / overview of the works of choreographer and filmmaker Wim Vandekeybus.
I love Vandekeybus' strange imaginary world. It's all about surpises and unexpected combinations, in his dances, stories, and also in the music.
This 3 DVD-box includes 12 of Wim Vandekeybus' films, plus some extras. Music by David Byrne, Peter Vermeersch, Thierry De Mey, Marc Ribot, and others.
Highly recommended.
I thought that this box was out-of-print, but it got repressed in 2010 and it's still available through the Ultima Vez website.
