Dr. John: Live At The Village Gate

The Omnivore Recordings record label has just released "Live At The Village Gate", a 1988 live recording by the late Dr. John.
Beautiful songs, sung with his characteristic rough, raspy voice.
Nice.
The album features Lou Marini (Tenor Sax) and Ronnie Cuber (Baritone Sax), names that we've come across on the "Zappa In New York" album.
Also linked to the Zappa universe: 'Mess Around' was written by J. Stone and Ahmet Ertegun, the latter being the Atlantic Records co-owner and maybe even the inspiration for FZ to name one of his kids Ahmet.
