CÉCILE NORDEGG

I first heard of Cécile Nordegg (also known as No-Ce) when I found out that she had recorded FZ's 'Bobby Brown' and released it on her "Jazz Proclamation Vol. 1" LP in 2017.
(The piece got re-released on CD in 2018, capturing both her "Volume 1" and "Volume 2" albums.)

At the time, I hadn't realized that she shared her last name with Thomas Nordegg, guitar tech for Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Dweezil Zappa,...
In the meantime, that has become obvious :-)

Her 2015 "Illusion" album featured Philip Bynoe, Rick Musallam, Scheila Gonzalez and Billy Hulting, among others.
& her 2022 "Chansons" album featured Mike Keneally.

Here's Cécile in concert:

And to make it even more interesting, here's a (dance) 'Twin Pigs Remix' of Cécile's version of 'Bobby Brown'.
The track got released in 2021 as part of Cécile's "Dance Proclamation" album on several digital music platforms. Later, also included in the 3 CD set called "Triple". (More on this later)
