PETER THOEGERSEN - HARMIKLOT, AN AMERICAN TRAGEDY

Created and recorded in 1993-1994, Peter Thoegersen’s “Harmiklot, An American Tragedy”, a mini opera in two acts, got released on Bandcamp in 2024.

In the liner notes Peter added:
“These songs were much akin to Zappa's music, and it was difficult to find players willing, or good enough, to perform odd meters, and freeform compositions, so the band aspect of this enterprise never materialized. These songs sat in a lonely file for 30 years until this week. I invented a story line and created all the voices as "interviews" between the songs to tie them all together.”

“Yes, there are naughty words in this music. Caution is advised for the sensitive heart, and PLEASE do not take anything personally. Even Frank Zappa had to fight off Al and Tipper Gore back in the day.”
