Meanwhile, here at New Ralph Too we're looking ahead to the ongoing pREServed series. An 'American Composers Series' box set looks likely, and as we speak The Residents are revisiting 'Demons Dance Alone' and 'Animal Lover' - you can expect the usual raft of previously unheard recordings, remastered albums and impossibly insightful sleevenotes, possibly by the end of this year.
And what else is happening? Well, word is The Residents are already plotting at least two new albums, overseeing a forthcoming 'Sam's Enchanted Evening' release, allowing themselves to be filmed for a proposed documentary and contemplating the possible revival of UWEB (!?!). Busy day! Oh, and they've also just announced the release of 'Our Finest Flowers' on vinyl for this year's Record Store Day extravaganza. We've also received what claims to be a first draft of something called 'Leftovers Again?! AGAIN?!?!?!?', but that could well be a practical joke only the group themselves find funny. It wouldn't be the first time.
