"Here it is at last, folks...more than ten years in the making, THE MOTHER PEOPLE ANTHOLOGY reprints all 39 issues of what I personally consider to be the greatest-ever Frank Zappa fanzine, MOTHER PEOPLE! This 'zine was created and edited by ROB CERRETA -- wit, raconteur, bon vivant, bootlegger and writer of no little talent. This series (this is the first of three) is a loving tribute to Rob and his work. For more of Rob's story, check out the book THE ZAPPA SUPPLEMENT, which can be purchased at this very website.
This volume covers the first 13 issues of this glorious publication, which ran from 1981 to 1989. It's a time capsule, custom-made for anyone who wonders what it was like to be a Frank Zappa fan in the 1980s. Oh and but also, the original tiny, eeny weeny little print of the fanzines has been enlarged to make it easier my old eyes like mine to enjoy. Hotcha!"
