The Chamber Music Of Steve Vai
In the Singer Theatre in Laren, Steve’s chamber music will be performed by violinist Joe Puglia, the North Sea String Quartet and pianist Ralph van Raat. The evening will be hosted by Steve Vai himself, together with his long-time associate Co de Kloet. The evening will consist of Vai classics in special arrangements as well as two world premieres. Steve Vai’s orchestral works with two world premieres
Yes, Steve’s birthday!
Steve himself will perform with the legendary Residentie Orkest from The Hague, under the baton of Jukka Iisakkila. Besides some repertoire pieces, never before performed orchestral pieces, two world premieres will be featured.
A special project with young composers will be presented as well.

June 11:
Steve Vai & Metropole Orkest
A reunion!
Vai and the Metropole Orkest will present an exclusive live performance of Vai’s compositions for orchestra and rock band. The show will include previews of a future release of new Vai/Metropole studio recordings! Again, Jukka Iisakkila conducting.

DAVID LEE ROTH BOX SET FEATURING STEVE VAI

David Lee Roth's "The Warner Recordings 1985 - 1994" collects exactly what it says, which implies that it includes albums that feature Steve Vai !

I mentioned it a little while ago alread, but it seems like it's finally out.
Released as a "5 LP in slipcase" set.

TONY LEVIN HAS ISSUED A PHOTO BOOK WITH PICTURES FROM THE RECENT BEAT TOUR

It is the best of bassist Tony Levin’s photos from the 2024 North America Tour, the 2025 Latin America Tour and the Tokyo Japan show in September 2025.

BEAT is a supergroup featuring STEVE VAI (guitar), ADRIAN BELEW (guitar, vocals), TONY LEVIN (bass guitar, Chapman stick, back vocals), DANNY CAREY (drums), and they perform the music of KING CRIMSON from the 1980s albums Discipline, Beat, and Three Of A Perfect Pair.

The deluxe edition has 3 CDs ("Neon Heat Disease - Live In Los Angeles" + "Strange Spaghetti - Live In North America), and comes in an large picture / art book.

And there's also a 3 LP version.

Great sound, with a very nice separation of the instruments!

I haven't watched the blu-ray yet, but this is a must-hear if you're in to the music of King Crimson, or if you want to hear Adrian Belew, Danny Carey, Tony Levin, or Steve Vai in action.

Superb !!

Next to the 4 LP / 2 CD deluxe box, the "G3 Reunion Live" album also got released as a 4 LP set and as a 2 CD set.
The 4 LP set had the same cover artwork as the deluxe box set. The 2 CD set had different artwork.
Quite a lot of the music that's on this set, also got performed by the SatchVai band.
As I'm patiently awaiting a SatchVai release, I thought it would only be logic to give this "G3 Reunion Live" album another spin.

The box had been on display in my living room for a while and can now be moved to the shelf.
An incredible package: 4 LPs on colored vinyl, 2 CDs (with the same music), and a beautiful hardbound coffee table book.
And the music is amazing.
Full of anticipation for the upcoming SatchVai Band release...
